New Year High Winds

High winds at beginning of 2012 cause numerous trees to fail across Devon

The beginning of 2012 has brought with it a series of unpredictable weather conditions. The high winds across Devon have caused trees all over the county to fail and cause disruption. Due to this we have found ourselves spending a large chunk of our time clearing up fallen trees in 2012 so far.

One particular job was a call-out we had regarding a large Willow tree which had fallen and was resting precariously in a customers garden. The tree was very unsafe in it's current position and had to be dealt with as a matter of urgency.

We sent two of our most experienced arborists to the job and by using specialised techniques and equipment they managed to make the tree safe, causing minimal damage to the garden. The tree was then processed and removed from site, leaving a very clean and tidy garden.
